2009 Assassin's Creed 2 Widget sharing contest

Rules and Regulations

1. No purchase necessary to enter the Assassin's Creed 2 Widget sharing contest. The contest will end 15/10/2009. The opportunity to play may be effected by local ability to access the Internet at any particular time.

2. The Assassin's Creed 2 Widget sharing contest is open to all players, 18 years or older who are legally allowed to participate in such a contest as allowed by their local laws.

3. Players must install the widget while logged in on the www.assassinscreed.com/assassins-creed-2/widget website in order to enter the contest. Players will be informed if they are a winner on or after 01/10/2009.
The contest ends at the time of episode recording, 01/10/2009. Limit one attempt per person, per widget install. Winner is defined by the number of times a widget was installed from his/her own widget. Ubisoft and its subsidiaries are not responsible for: incomplete, lost, late, damaged, scrambled or misdirected entries or other errors of any kind whether human, mechanical or electronic, which may limit a user’s ability to participate in the contest.
Ubisoft reserves the right to cancel or modify the contest if fraud destroys the integrity of the game as determined by Ubisoft in its sole discretion. All entries become the property of Ubisoft and will not be returned or acknowledged.

4. Employees and families of Ubisoft and its affiliates and subsidiaries are not eligible. Void where prohibited by law. All Federal, state and local laws and regulations apply.

5. Prize will be assigned to one identified as winner. It is an invitation to fly to Montreal and play Assassin's Creed 2 in the development team offices. It includes flying tickets, accommodation and food. The prize cannot be exchanged for money in any cases since the prize is not about flying to Montreal but playing the Game before release date. Should the winner not be able attend the fan day then second best widget sharer would be selected and so on until a candidate is available at the fan day dates.

6. The Player will be informed at the close of the contest if he/she is a winner. Winners will receive their invitation to the Montreal Fan day via mail after the contest has completed and winner has been verified. Taxes and delivery fees, if any, are the sole responsibility of the winner. Uncompressed.org and its agencies assume no responsibility or liability for any damages, losses, or injury resulting from the acceptance or use of the prize.

7. Acceptance of prize offered constitutes permission to use winner’s name and/or likeness for purposes of advertising and trade, worldwide in perpetuity, without future compensation, unless prohibited by law. Prize winners will be required to verify address prior to awarding of the prize. Entering the contest is considered a confirmation of eligibility on behalf of the enterer in accord with these rules and any pertaining local/federal/international laws.
